so... yeah. it's been about 3 months since i've been on DA.

and let me tell you, the last 3 months have been crazy as hell.


mainly because of school.





...but now I don't have to worry about school anymore! I'M FINALLY GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL! ...as of two days ago. you have no idea how happy I am about having graduated. :3


...especially since for awhile there I wasn't sure if I would. my English teacher is a tough cookie who doesn't update people's grades as often as she should at this time(or was this time) of the year.

anywho, I've been busy beyond reason. which is why I suddenly disappeared from the dark depths of teh internetz for so long. ...except to maybe read webcomics. heehee.

but now I'm back! and hopefully I'll be much, much more active now that it's finally summer for me. ...funny, it doesn't really feel like it's summer yet. and my school got out later because of the strike and snow and all that jazz. meh, it'll probably set in soon.

anywho, where to start... I've been exploring the wonders of paper and a pencil over these last few months, as well as working on some digital pieces too. so I have a bunch of stuff to update. XD other than that, I've been exploring the wonderful world of drawing yaoi... my friends seem to approve. very much so. ...*goes into happy yaoi la-la-land*

and... our badminton team won state again this year! and I got the 'most improved player of the year' award. :3

after badminton season ended, our band went up to Victoria, Canada for the Victoria Day Parade. that was a blast! my parents went with me, and we ended up having afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel... <3 that was absolutely fantastic. and fortunately, it didn't rain during the parade. a bonus! XD ...although I did get a little sunburned. I had interesting tan lines for awhile. XD

and then after the parade, our school had senior prom... at the Space Needle. I was so happy when I found out it was at there. I'm pretty sure I started crying tears of happiness, since I had wanted to go there for senior prom ever since my brother's prom was held there. the night was fun too... my friend and I(who decided to go together since both of our previous plans had gone south on us) hung out in downtown Seattle for a few hours before it started, eating dinner at the old spaghetti factory and checking out the sculpture park. and when we were finally there... it started off kinda slow. 'the crew', as they're called at our school, were the only ones on the dancing floor for awhile, until more people showed up. I didn't dance much myself, since it seemed like the only type of dance anyone really was doing was freak dancing. ugh. but I explored the space needle, going up to the observation deck and enjoying the view X3 and I talked with a lot of people too, even meeting my 3D Animation teacher's wife XD she was a very nice person... :3

after prom then finals came up, which were interesting... one of my class finals consisted of playing beer pong with root beer. until we ran out of root beer, then we used water. XD my finals were relatively easy... although I kinda BS'd my math final. I contracted senioritus so bad towards the end of the school year that I couldn't bring myself to do anything more than draw and talk in a few of my classes, but especially my math class. but I survived. :3

and then finally... graduation. I was so nervous at first, but after we went through practice and I let it sit in for awhile... I got really excited. as in, jumping off the walls excited. after going into the room and sitting down in our rows, I had to get up again to sing the National Anthem with other seniors who were in choir :3 and then madness ensued. the staff speakers did a great job at their speeches, my AP US Government teacher actually being one of them XD and oh lordy... the second student speaker was a hit. he referenced Ents from the Lord of the Rings in his speech, if that gives any indication to how interesting it was. and beach balls were flying every so often... and our side of the rows tried to start a wave multiple times, failing miserably each time. oh lordy though... at the very end of graduation, as people were finishing up receiving their diplomas.... someone pulled out a giant, inflatable... well, penis. I was so embarrassed! it fortunately did not come my way though. thank the lord. we finally received our diplomas though, and threw our hats in the air happily, finally graduated.

but then... there was Grad Night. the graduation party afterwords... that lasted all night long. it certainly was quite the party XD

...but not at first. it started out with waiting for over an hour at the building where our graduation was held, doing nothing. nothing, until some kids noticed that there were microphones in the room... and they worked. then, everyone huddled around the middle of the room as people started beat boxing and rapping. it was actually very entertaining XD when our buses finally arrived though, we went off to our first destination... the bowling alley. and let me tell you, this was a very nice bowling alley. there were huge screens hanging on the walls playing music videos, pool tables lining the entrance of the building... there was an arcade in the back too :3 but in between the pool tables and the bowling lanes was a small, open place... where an inflatable boxing arena was set up. I went in it 3 times XD the first two times I went in with one of my friends... I kept knocking her down lol XD and then the last time I went in... I went in with one of my guy friends at school. and let me tell you, this guy is no pushover. I certainly didn't let him leave without a fight though... he was thoroughly exhausted by the time we got out XD there was also a small room where they were giving out henna tattoos... I got the kanji for 'dragon' on my hand X3 so after hanging out there for a few hours, we got back in the buses again... and went to the mall. rather, the Rainforest Cafe inside of the mall. ...which had been turned into a casino. outside of it, segways were set up for people to try out... man, those things were fun. XD and there was a small glass phone booth-like thing where you had 30 seconds to grab as much money as you could floating up from underneath you... I got 5 bucks richer from that XD inside, there was a chocolate fountain... *drools* and lots of refreshments and such XD lots of people were on the dance floor set up too XD but it was about that time that I crashed... I took a nap for awhile XD and when I woke up... the last part of our grad night party was about to start. we had a hypnotist come to the party and perform a show with us! I tried to get picked, but I guess I wasn't desperate enough about it... XD it was quite the laugh to watch though!

so right now I'm enjoying being sick with a cold, writing this journal entry. on my new laptop...


....yes, I got a new laptop. yesterday, actually. it was a graduation present from my grandparents in California :3 it's so shiny! ...and not broken! I can actually carry it places too without having to worry about the screen not working! *is a happy camper*

so yeah XD I'm back, and hopefully I'll be on more often now XD and maybe I'll respond to all the messages I've gotten while I was gone... that would be nice. XD
